about

Our Story

Ancaster Basketball Club - Magic was formed in 1994 as a grassroots basketball organization giving the youth in our community the opportunity to play basketball.  We provide our players with the best coaching, facilities and overall organizational support. This philosophy is what drives us to provide the best quality basketball programs to Ancaster and area youth.

In recent years, the program has grown to accommodate over 300 participants at the house league level and at the rep level.  We are very excited about the prospects of continued growth and the spread of ‘basketball fever’ throughout our community. We remain determined to provide the Ancaster community with an exciting youth program that we can all be very proud of. Ancaster Basketball Club is a registered not-for-profit corporation governed by a volunteer board that exists to provide the young people in our community the opportunity to participate in programs that teach fundamental basketball skills, as well as very important life skills. The Ancaster Basketball Club program is built upon three pillars: Development program for Kids 6 - 8 years old, a House League program for boys and girls ranging in age from 8 - 14, and our Competitive Rep program for boys and girls from 9 - 19.
